Niagara Falls Canada
Niagara falls är egentligen två städer på var sin sida om vattenfallet Niagara falls
Niagara Falls is a group of waterfalls in the Niagara River in eastern North America, on the border between the United States and Canada. Falls are the twin cities of Niagara Falls, USA and Niagara Falls, Canada.
The waterfall as part of Niagara Falls is American Falls, Horseshoe Falls (Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls) and Bridal Veil Falls (Bridal Veil Falls). American Falls and Horseshoe Falls is the largest, with a width of 325 and 920 meters, while the Bridal Veil Falls is considerably less. Horseshoe Falls is located two-thirds of Canada and one-third in the United States. The other two cases is located in the USA.
Niagara Falls has a drop of about 54 meters and does not belong to the world's highest waterfall, but they are wide and have an extremely high water flow. The falls are a major tourist attraction and millions of visitors come every year to see them, especially during the summer.
Boat on the Niagara River escapes Niagara Falls by the Welland Canal, part of the Saint Lawrence Seaway. A portion of the river (50 to 75%) does not flow through the cases, but led instead by turbines that supply nearby areas in the U.S. and Canada with electricity. One sees, however, that at least 2, 000 cubic meters / second pass cases.
In case there is a memorial to Nikola Tesla, which was the first to extract electrical energy from Niagara Falls.
